At Shoot Point Blank, we are proud of the community we’ve built—a community of people with different backgrounds and lifestyles who nevertheless share a common interest in firearms and in Living Confidently. What does Living Confidently mean? Every member of the community has his or her own unique definition and their own unique story. That definition may include traditions of family and service, personal independence, the love of an exciting sport, and much more, in a wide range of exciting combinations. In this feature, we share the stories of our associates. We hope you’ll accept our invitation to join the community and create your own story of Living Confidently!
This is Kaecee Dollard from our Greenwood location and this is her story of Living Confidently.
I was born and raised in Indianapolis, and graduated from Franklin Central High School. Currently I’m working on obtaining my realtor’s license with the ultimate goal of working in the West Texas market.
I grew up showing horses and travel across the country throughout the year for different shows. I currently own 6 horses and a French Bulldog named Bingham. I have a love for the Southwest, cattle, rodeo, turquoise and leather. I’ve won two world championship titles—at the Grand National and World Championship Morgan Horse show in Oklahoma, with my mare, Peeps, and two world titles at the Friesian World Show in Ohio with my gelding, Sjoerd W (Armani).
I have been with Shoot Point Blank’s Greenwood location since we opened two years ago, and it has been a very rewarding experience. I’ve had such a great time working with our team and meeting new people every day. I enjoy shooting with my dad who retired from the Army. I didn’t have much background in the firearms industry when I started, but I have loved being able to learn so many new things every day, and share what I’ve learned with others.
